MISSION
The Jamaica Conservation and Development Trust (JCDT) promotes environmental conservation and sustainable development, with particular emphasis on the Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park, for the benefit of Jamaica and our people.
GOALS (2010 – 2014)
Programme Area 1: National Park Co-Management
- Goal 1: Protect and Conserve the natural and cultural heritage resources of the Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park
Programme Area 2: Environmental Education, Knowledge Management & Dissemination
- Goal 2:Jamaicans understand the importance of, and are practicing sustainable use of their natural resources in their daily lives (stewardship)
- Goal 3: Jamaicans recognize the importance of the Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park.

- Goal 4: To enhance the public profile of JCDT

- Goal 5: Improve and maintain an efficiently and effectively managed organization
- Goal 6: Become financially sustainable within five years
